Connie and family, thinking of you, and your family, your extended family. Trusting that God holds you and all of us in his hands, knowing that you are safe and loved. Lean on the strong shoulders of your church family and friends who want to ease your burden. Recognizing that God’s wisdom includes a purpose which is never easy to understand and is oftentimes mystifying. Hoping that you can find the gifts within this daunting task, miracles abound.

Connie, I don’t know if we ever met, but I worked at Celebration with David back in 2002 and 2003 and he was one of my favorite people to work with in box! He always had such a bright smile on his face, and I loved working with him. After I quit, whenever I came in to catch a movie he always had smiles for me then too. You and David and the rest of your family are in my thoughts, and my heart goes out to all of you.

I send you my prayers. A little thought or two has been cast upward daily over the last year or so. As it turned out, I was called this morning and asked to substitute at adoration. Being aware of Dave’s fragile physical state and of the prayer needs for our friend Emily and her young family, I immediately said yes. It provided me a hour to focus on sending out prayers and petitions for peace and acceptance. Now, I hear that the 11 a.m. hour was an appropriate time to be sharing with our Lord. My condolences.

Connie, from the first time I met you guys a the Biggsby Coffee shop I new that you’d be fighters! …and you have fought. Now the battle is a bit different than it has been and you are fighting for comfort and peace. I think of you and David often and pray for you. That will continue.

Connie & John,
I am so sorry….I was not aware of Dave’s illness until a short time ago. You are such a wonderful family, with strong values and faith. Hold onto the love and memories and give each other lots of hugs daily. Stop in if you want some hugs from me too. Sending you my love, prayers, and thoughts.
God bless you and hold you.
Love,
Mrs. Sonday
